Core–Shell Nanoparticle Combined with Bacterial Targeting and Antibiotic Loading for Bacteria Tracing and Clearing

Bacterial infections are a major complication in human healthcare. Bacteria tracing and targeted delivery of antibiotics to bacterial infection sites being developed reduce the high mortality caused by pathogenic infections. Owing challenges accurate diagnosis infection, particularly identification biomaterial‐related bacteria, use bacteria‐targeting nanomaterials has become increasingly important. Herein, magnetic core–shell mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) fabricated for drug delivery; shell is modified with ubiquicidin (UBI) 29‐41 bacteria targeting, vancomycin loaded into channels MSNs. The results demonstrate that MSNs display desired functions loading, detectability resonance imaging, antibacterial action, good vitro biocompatibility.
